1. About Kids Market
- Kids Market is a family chores, responsibilities, rewards, and money-skills application.
- The App allows parents or guardians to:
- Create and manage a household.
- Create parent and child profiles.
-Assign chores and responsibilities, referred to in the App as smart contracts.
- Review completed activities.
- Manage rewards, balances, points, gems, saving jars, and goals.
- Configure notifications.
- Purchase optional Premium features.
- Children may use a child profile created or authorized by a parent or guardian to view responsibilities, record completion, submit optional proof, view rewards, and interact with family-controlled features.
- Kids Market is not a social network. Child profiles are intended to operate within a private household and are not publicly searchable.
2. Parents and guardians
A parent or legal guardian is responsible for:
Creating or authorizing child profiles.
Providing consent where required by applicable law.
Deciding which information is entered for a child.
Managing household membership and access.
Reviewing activities and information submitted through a child profile.
Requesting correction or deletion of a child’s information.
Children should not create or operate a parent account without the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.
3. Information we collect
The information we collect depends on which features are used.
3.1 Account and authentication information
When an adult creates or signs in to an account, we may process:
Name or display name.
Email address.
Authentication identifier.
Sign-in provider.
Account and profile identifiers.
Household identifier.
Parent or administrator role.
Account creation and account status information.
Authentication may be provided through services such as Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, or Firebase Authentication.
We do not receive or store the user’s Google Account or Apple Account password.
3.2 Child profile information
A parent or guardian may create a child profile containing:
Child’s first name, nickname, or display name.
Profile avatar or selected profile image.
Internal child profile identifier.
Household membership.
Assigned responsibilities.
Completion progress and history.
Reward preferences.
Money, points, gems, and other in-app balances.
Saving goals and saving-jar information.
Child-specific App settings.
We recommend using a first name or nickname rather than a child’s full legal name.
Child profiles are managed within the associated household. They are not intended to be visible to the public.
3.3 Household information
We may process information associated with a private family household, including:
Household identifier.
Parent and child members.
Parent administrator permissions.
Household join codes.
Device and account associations.
Household settings.
Subscription status.
Membership and deletion records used to prevent deleted profiles from being restored unintentionally.
Join codes should be shared only with trusted members of the relevant household.
3.4 Chores, smart contracts, and activity information
When users create or interact with responsibilities in the App, we may process:

Description and selected icon.
Assigned child or children.
Start date, due date, and time.
Repetition schedule.

Kids Market may process information entered by household members relating to:

Donation goals.
Investment-learning settings.

Weekly goals and progress.
Kids Market does not provide banking, investment, brokerage, money-transfer, or financial-advisory services.
Amounts shown in the App are family-managed records or educational values. Unless expressly stated otherwise, they do not represent funds held by us and cannot be withdrawn from us.
3.6 Photos and camera access
Some responsibilities may allow or require a child to provide a photo as evidence that an activity was completed.
When this feature is used, the App may process:
A photo selected from the device.
A photo captured using the device camera.
The responsibility and household profile associated with the photo.
Upload and submission information.
Photos are shared only within the relevant household through the App’s intended functionality. They are not intended to be made public.
Parents should avoid asking children to submit photos containing sensitive information, documents, addresses, school details, unrelated individuals, or private surroundings.
Camera or photo-library access is requested only when a user activates a feature that requires it, subject to device permissions.
3.7 Notifications and device information
When notifications are enabled, we may process:

App installation identifier.
Associated household or profile identifier.

Notification delivery information.
This information is used to deliver reminders and household activity notifications.
Users can disable notifications through the App settings or the device’s system settings.
3.8 Purchases and subscription information
Kids Market may offer monthly, yearly, and lifetime Premium options.
Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store or by Google through Google Play. We do not receive or store full payment-card details.
We may receive and process purchase-related information such as:
Product identifier.
Store platform.
Purchase token or transaction identifier.
Receipt or signed purchase information.
Purchase status.
Subscription status.
Subscription start or expiration date.
Renewal or cancellation status.

Household entitlement status.

Apple and Google process payment and store-account information according to their own privacy policies.

A child profile should be created, authorized, and managed by a parent or legal guardian. The parent or guardian controls household membership, responsibilities, rewards, and access to the child’s information.
We do not knowingly use children’s personal information for advertising, cross-app tracking, or sale to data brokers.
We collect only the information reasonably necessary to provide the family features selected by the parent or guardian.
Parents and guardians may:
Review information associated with a child profile.
Correct or update the child’s information.
Delete a child profile.
Delete the household where permitted.
Withdraw permission for optional features.

When we learn that personal information from a child was collected without required parental authorization, we will take reasonable steps to investigate and delete it.

Firebase Realtime Database stores and synchronizes application information, Cloud Storage can store uploaded content, Cloud Functions runs backend operations, Firebase Cloud Messaging supports push notifications, and Google Analytics for Firebase helps us understand App usage and improve the App.
Google may process technical and service-related information as our service provider according to its applicable terms and privacy documentation.
Google Analytics for Firebase helps us understand App usage and engagement and improve the App.
9. Service providers
We may use service providers to operate the App, including:
Google and Firebase
Used for authentication, database hosting, file storage, backend functions, push notifications, analytics, App usage measurement, and technical service operation.
Apple
Used for App Store distribution, Sign in with Apple where available, in-app purchases, subscription processing, receipt or transaction information, and push-notification infrastructure.
Google Play
Used for Android distribution, Google Sign-In where available, in-app purchases, subscription processing, and purchase verification.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies and may act as independent controllers for information associated with their store or platform accounts.

Information may be visible to authorized members of the same household, depending on their role and App permissions.
For example, parents may view child activity, submitted photos, balances, rewards, and progress. Children may see information intended for their child profile.

We share information with service providers only as necessary to host, authenticate, synchronize, secure, support, and operate the App.
For legal or safety reasons
We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:

Information may be processed and stored using Google Firebase or Google Cloud infrastructure and other service-provider systems.

Limited records are required to verify a purchase or permanent entitlement.
The information remains temporarily in encrypted backups or system logs before routine deletion.
Backup copies and security records may remain for a limited period and will not be used for ordinary App functionality after the applicable deletion request has been completed.
14. Account and data deletion
Users can initiate account deletion from within Kids Market.
The exact menu wording may vary by App version, but the option is available through the account or settings area.
Depending on the user’s role, deletion may include:
Deleting a child profile.
Removing a parent or household member.
Leaving a household.
Deleting the user’s account.
Deleting an entire household where the user is authorized to do so.
Deleting a parent account does not necessarily cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Subscriptions must be managed separately through the applicable store account.

20. App Store and Google Play purchases
Purchasing, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund processes are controlled by Apple or Google.

To cancel or manage a subscription, users must use the subscription-management tools associated with their Apple App Store or Google Play account.
Deleting Kids Market or deleting a Kids Market account does not automatically cancel an active store subscription.
